Students at the Universidad Internacional de Extremadura (UNINDE) will have the opportunity to complete part of their studies at 12 partner universities across 7 countries in Europe and America. This initiative is supported by the Global Academic Network (GAN), an international academic group that connects over 75,000 students across its various institutions.
Antonio Rubio, Director of UNINDE, emphasized that university’s vision extends beyond academic instruction. “We want our students to benefit from the experience of living and studying in other countries, learning about different cultures, and connecting with students from around the world."
The private university leading the UNINDE project in Extremadura is backed by the GAN academic group, which brings together higher education institutions with a shared commitment to advancing knowledge. Among the partner universities are Universidad Autónoma de Chile, the John Von Neumann Business Institute in Peru, and the Instituto de Estudios Superiores in Portugal, where students will be able to complete part of their undergraduate studies.
Additionally, they will have the option to enroll in virtual courses at Blackwell Global University and Carver University, both based in the United States.
According to Rubio, the UNINDE project aims to bring the GAN educational experience to Europe, establishing a new hub for innovative knowledge generation that meets the expectations of today’s students. Multiculturalism, inclusion, and diversity are the core pillars of this educational process.
