The Universidad Internacional de Extremadura (UNINDE) project was officially presented during a working breakfast with representatives from the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce and the local community leaders. The event took place in Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain, on April 11, and was also attended by representatives from the Global Academic Network (GAN).
UNINDE is a university initiative supported by institutions such as ITAE Business School, Universidad Autónoma de Chile, and U.S.-based Carver University and Blackwell Global University, among others. GAN represents a network of 12 organizations across 7 countries, with over 75,000 students.
The Mayor of Cáceres expressed strong support for the project, emphasizing the importance of linking it with the city’s business and productive sectors. He also highlighted that the academic offerings will enrich students' opportunities, providing them with more options to face the challenges of the current job market.
